Benzotriazole derivatives are applied to the copper surface to prevent oxidation and increase durability. In order to ensure optimal current dissipation throughout the system, threads are roll-formed to preserve continuity of copper coverage even across coupling junctions. These rods, which come in threaded and unthreaded varieties and are suitable for exothermic welding and brass-alloy couplings, are designed to satisfy BS 4360 grade 43A and are appropriate for use in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
