There are three different ways to connect your new Wavlink extender to the existing router. These are the WPS, web-based, and WiFi app approaches. Each process has different steps that you need to follow carefully for a hassle-free setup. The WPS method has only 3 to 4 steps and there is no need to collect any specific thing. But, the other two processes require using some things and following several steps. That’s why for a simple Wavlink ac1200 repeater setup, you must choose the WPS method. Use, press, and hold the WPS buttons from both devices for a few seconds and there will be a stable connection within minutes. However, if you follow any of the last two methods, you need to access the setup portal on your device. Later, follow the on-screen directions to complete the setup once you are done with the login. Make sure you use the accurate and default details prompted by the setup in those approaches.
