Mid-Season 6 Update - Patch 2.1 & Enhancements

The Vessel of Hatred expansion and Season 6 have been active for over a month, which means it’s time to discuss the upcoming mid-season update for Season 6, titled "Season of Hatred Rising."

Recently, Blizzard completed the mid-season 6 update campfire chat , sharing some exciting news.

The 2.1 patch is on the horizon, with its notes set to be released on November 15th and the patch itself launching on November 19th .
Another campfire chat is anticipated next week, focusing on the Season 7 PTR, which will open shortly.
The new spiritborn class has gained positive feedback from the Diablo community, and Blizzard has confirmed there are no nerfs planned for it until Season 7.
To ensure a balanced gameplay experience, other classes will receive buffs.

Core skills are seeing significant enhancements:

Upheaval : Damage has been increased from 100% to 120%.
Hammer of the Ancients : Damage raised from 55% to 70%.
Double Swing : Damage improved from 50% to 60%.
Rend : Bleeding damage boosted from 105% to 120%.

Additionally, underperforming uniques and legendaries will receive buffs, alongside enhancements to all key passives:

Lupine Ferocity : Critical strike damage increased from 70% to 100%, and bonus damage to injured enemies raised from 140% to 200%.
One with Nature : Companion bonus damage improved from 60% to 80%.

Furthermore, basic skills will also be improved:

Decompose : Damage increased from 33% to 60%, and essence gain per second enhanced from 10-13%, now scaling with attack speed.

Passive skills are not left out either:

Evulsion : Your bone skills will now deal an increased 6% damage to vulnerable enemies.

Unique items are also getting buffs:

The Mortacrux : The chance to spawn a skeletal simulacrum has increased from 10-30% to 20-40%.
Howl from Below : Corpse explosion damage has been raised from 30-50% to 50-90%.

More buffs to core skills include:

Penetrating Shot : Damage increased from 70% to 95%.
Flurry : Damage enhanced from 130% to 150%.

Key passives like Victimize will see damage scaling increased from 120% to 150% of vulnerable damage bonus, alongside improvements to Precision .

This update promises to enhance gameplay and class balance as the mid-season progresses.Damage scaling has been adjusted, increasing from a 15% to a 20% bonus on critical strike damage.

Key passives, specifically Combustion and Avalanche, are set to receive enhancements.

Certain legendary aspects, like Piercing Cold, will also see improvements.

Additionally, Spiritborn will enjoy minor buffs to skills that have been lagging behind:

Razor Wings
Withering Fist
Toxic Skin

Runewords are getting buffs as well, with reduced offering costs:

Moni's offering has risen from 25 to 35.
Ahu's offering now goes from 10 to 25.
Ceh's wolf spirits will now always operate without hindrance.

Updates are coming to shrines too:

Artillery, Blast Wave, and Conduit shrines will now inflict greater damage, scaling with player and paragon levels.

Excitingly, the red-cloaked Horrow is making a return in this update!

Blizzard aims to bring players back to Diablo 4 by reintroducing the Mother's Blessing experience bonus, alongside a potential "welcome back" buff that rewards players with gear.
